The trip to Britain will be Lance’s first visit to the UK and, amazingly, playing at the Hebden Bridge Blues Festival will be his first performance in the country. Born in Louisiana, Lance is now Texas through and through. Lance’s ancestors originally came from England and Wales, and so it very much feels like he is returning to his roots. He also holds British artists in high regard, particularly Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Jeff Beck and Matt Schofield. “British music has shaped American music, we grew up on it. Coming to the UK is a big deal for me. I’ve toured all over Europe, but never made it to Britain before”.
Lance will be playing at the Hebden Bridge Picture House on 28th May.
