The Blues Jukes are playing at the Hebden Bridge Blues Festival

We are very please to report that not only are the Blues Jukes playing at the warm up gig at the Trades Club on March 5th, they are also playing at the main Hebden Bridge Blues Festival at the end of May.

In the Blues Jukes own words, they come from "the Great Northern Blues Belt on the Yorks/Lancs Border" and they are aiming to "bring back the Classic Blues Vibe".

They are a Keighley based five-piece outfit with Rick (Big Dutch) Hague on harmonica and vocals, Mick Owens on piano, Mark Bannister on drums, Mick Nosurak on bass and Wayne Marshall on rhythm and lead guitar.

Blues Festival warm up gig at the Trades Club

To get you in the mood for the Hebden Bridge Blues Festival at the end of May, we are putting on a warm-up/fundraiser/launch gig at the Trades Club on Saturday March 5th.

There will be four awesome bands, (to be announced shortly) as well as some other great treats including an exclusive video preview of many of the forty or so bands that will be playing at the main festival.

Tickets £8, Concessions £6

See you there!

What, no Jazz?

Originally conceived as the Hebden Bridge Jazz and Blues Festival, the Hebden Bridge Blues Festival switched from including jazz as the number of Jazz musicians applying to play was around one tenth that of Blues musicians.
