Special Women of Blues Tickets

Lucy Zirins
After careful consideration, and as a result of numerous requests (particularly from local residents), we have decided to add a one-off special ticket to see the Hebden Bridge Blues Festival "Women of Blues" night, featuring Cherry Lee Mewis, Hooson, Lucy Zirins and Fran McGillvray at the Main Stage. These will be priced at £10 and are available only on the door of the Picture House from 7pm on Sunday. Please note that, unlike the weekend or day passes, this ticket WILL NOT allow access to the Blue Horizons Stage at Bar Place or any other gigs.

Raffle Prizes

We will be holding three separate raffles this year, one on each day to be drawn at midnight at the Blue Horizons stage at Bar Place, and we have some awesome prizes!

Our wonderful friends at Maryport Blues Festival, the Great Rythym and Blues Festival at Colne and Orkney Blues Festival have all given us passes to raffle off. Not only that, we have two tickets to see the amazing Beth Hart in Manchester at the HMV Ritz on 27th June.

Maryport have given us two full weekend passes, Colne have given us two full day passes (for either day) and Orkney have given us two full weekend passes, so make sure you have a flutter!

Tickets will be priced at one strip (of 5 tickets) for £2 or three strips for £5. What a bargain!

Howlin' Fox Beer for the Hebden Blues Festival

We are delighted to say that we have teamed up with Hebden Bridge based micro-brewer, Slightly Foxed Brewing Company to bring you a specially brewed festival beer.

"All of us here at the Slightly Foxed Brewing Company are proud to be sponsoring this great blues festival and can't wait for what is going to be an exceptional weekend of live music. Slightly Foxed and the Hebden Bridge Blues festival are both celebrating our first birthdays at this time, so its particularly fitting that we link up for this event.

As a tribute to a classic blues performer, our festival beer will be called 'Howlin' Fox' and will be a 3.5% ale very pale with hoppy notes, using the finest and palest malts and a blend of exciting New Zealand hops. It will be available from a number of venues around the festival" said Simon Trapp, director and chief brewer.

Cheers guys!
