We are delighted to say that Hebden Bridge Blues Festival has won the Festival of the Year title at the 2014 British Blues Awards.

The official presentation was this afternoon in Colne at their Blues Festival.

Whether you were a musician, a caterer, a full-wristband Weekend Warrior, someone who caught a band in a Juke Joint, someone who cleaned the toilets, or someone who just cheered us on from the internet, thank you for this honour.

As you may know, Hebden Bridge Blues Festival is a finalist again in the "Festival of the Year" category of this year's British Blues Awards.

If we win, this would be the third consecutive year we have won the highest award available to us, so please come and give us your support.

The announcement of the winners and runners up will take place on The British Stage at 2.30 on Sunday 24th August at Colne Great British R & B Festival.

We will be driving over from Hebden Bridge, leaving from the car park outside the town hall at 1230, if you fancy joining us in convoy.

Your MC for the afternoon will be the award winning Blues broadcaster, Hebden favourite and acoustic artist Mr Gary Grainger.

You will be required to purchase a Pledge Badge to gain entry, but this will get you access for the whole weekend to both the British and Acoustic Stages.
